Our Mission

The revitalized Battery Maritime Building includes nearly 20,000 square feet of event space centered around the historic “Great Hall,” which hosts both private and public events. It is our mission to transform the space — with great artistry and dedication to gracious service — to create an extraordinary environment every time. On each visit, guests will enter with a sense of awe that this building has been unseen, in plain sight, for so many decades.

 

The BMB is graceful, delightful, and has elevated the daily experience of ferry riders entering the city. We are committed to continuing the implementation of an operating plan that provides public access and programming at the BMB.
